GENERAL JOB DUTIES 

Responsibilities:

·         Properly coding services, procedures, diagnoses, and treatments

• Preparing and sending invoices or claims for payment
• Correcting rejected claims
• Tracking payments
• Following up with patients and insurance companies about outstanding bills

 

Qualifications:

·         Must be proficient in Excel

·         Should have excellent communication skills

·         Will follow up on any unpaid claims within standard billing time frames

·         Will be responsible for calling any insurance companies regarding any discrepancies to payments

·         All accounts will be reviewed for insurance or patient follow up as needed
