Salary: $45,000 - $50,000

Our client, a national, non-profit, charitable organization, is looking for an experienced Bilingual Customer Experience Representative to join their team on a permanent basis. This position is a hybrid position – minimum 3-days in office every 3 weeks. 

Only candidates residing in Ottawa will be considered.

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Act as the face of the organization
• Answer inbound service calls from the public and members, addressing inquiries and providing assistance as needed
• Conduct proactive outbound calls to existing customer organizations to maintain connections, verify account information, and communicate upcoming activities and opportunities
• Ensure the accuracy of customer data records
• Manage the digital certificates and credentials of members
• Utilize the system to engage with the community, promote programs, and facilitate the use of the organizations services
• Review documents for proper format, grammar, and accuracy, ensuring high-quality materials
• Provide backup support to the Executive Assistant during absences, assisting with administrative tasks as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Required skills and qualifications:

• Must be fluently bilingual (English and French)
• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education preferred
• 1-2 years’ experience in customer service
• Excellent organization and prioritization skills
• Technically and technologically competent, especially with electronic and virtual meeting platforms (Zoom and MS Teams)
• Must have in-depth knowledge of various software programs (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Team player attitude who will support the operations wherever needed
• Previous experience working in the not-for-profit sector considered an asset

Monday to Friday – 8:00am to 4:00pm

Salary: $45,000 - $50,000 per year
