Our Tri-Cities based client, a well-established leader in industrial, strata, and commercial landscape management, is seeking an experienced Landscape Supervisor to join their team! As the Landscape Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of landscape maintenance projects. This is a leadership role that requires strong supervisory skills and a deep understanding of landscaping techniques.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of landscapers to ensure efficient and high-quality work
- Plan and execute landscape maintenance projects, including mowing, trimming, pruning, and fertilizing
- Design and implement garden layouts, ensuring proper plant selection and placement
- Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets
- Train new team members on proper landscaping techniques and safety protocols
- Maintain equipment inventory and coordinate repairs or replacements as needed

 

Skills and Requirements:
- A completed Red Seal Horticulturalist Certificate is required.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in landscape maintenance with a strong knowledge of plants, trees, and shrubs

- Minimum of 5 years of supervising and leading landscaping teams

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively delegate tasks
- Strong problem-solving abilities to address any issues that may arise during projects
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks such as lifting heavy objects and operating machinery
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
