Our client serves South Western Ontario and specializes in complete site demolition and cleanup, preparing sites for their next development. They also have an ever expanding crushing division and offer bin rental services.
Objective:
As a site supervisor, the right candidate will be responsible for supervising a crew of 2 to 5 individuals on a demolition site and will be required to work alongside them.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Have experience with and be able to operate a variety of hand and power tools.
- Read and interpret demolition drawings.
- Supervise a crew of 2 to 5 people.
- Hold a valid G class driver's license
Are you Qualified?
- Experience as a supervisor for at least 1 year within Canada.
- Demolition/Construction Experience and understanding of building systems.
- Good communication in English. Knowledge of Polish/Ukrainian is an asset.
- Ability to work Monday to Friday, as well as nights and weekends when required.
- Certifications in WHMIS and Working at Heights.
- OHSA Supervisory Safety Training in 5 Steps.
- First Aid and Elevated Platform Operation are an asset.
