Shifts: Monday-Friday, 5:00AM-1:30PM

Job Details: The Coating Tech position is a production role responsible for conducting spray or dip operations with liquid or powder paints on manufactured products needing standard finishes. This role demands physical dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Responsibilities include mixing paint product as needed, preparing surfaces for painting, cleaning and maintaining equipment, and inspecting completed work to correct any defects. 

Responsibilities:

- Execute production spray or dip operations using liquid or powder paint to achieve standard finishes on manufactured products. 
- Adhere to defined production goals and meet scheduled deadlines. 
- Follow work instructions, drawings, quality standards, and safety protocols. 
- Load and unload carts efficiently. 
- Perform computer transactions, run dispatch lists, and interpret part numbers accurately. 
- Assist with assembly or other functions within the department as directed. 
- Participate in physical inventories. 

Qualifications/Requirements:

- High School Diploma or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Prior production experience required 
- Understand oral and written instructions
- Possess effective written and verbal communication skills
- Can operate an overhead crane under close supervision
- Basic math skills
- Possess very basic computer skills
- Ability to count accurately 
- Can read a tape measure 
- Able to read basic charts and drawings   
- Ability to handle small tools and equipment
