Job Description:

A local engineering firm is looking for a HR Assistant/Office Administrator that is a detailed-oriented and organized individual. In this role, you will handle administrative tasks, financial reporting, customer service, HR support, and recruitment processes while maintaining office efficiency and compliance.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform word processing, data entry, document management, and maintain office efficiency through policies and systems.
  • Assist with financial reporting, payroll, accounts payable, billing, and executive credit card reconciliation.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, coordinate travel, and manage office functions, inventory, and maintenance.
  • Support HR tasks including onboarding, clerical support, maintaining HR files, and coordinating employee benefits and pre-employment processes.
  • Facilitate recruitment, manage interviews and application processing, complete I-9 forms, and ensure compliance through routine filing and archiving.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of administrative support experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe
  • Preferred knowledge in NewForma, Deltek Ajera, and Consential
