Shipping Dock Team Lead

Located in Grand Rapids, MI

Salary: $20/hr

Shipping Dock Lead Job Summary:

A third-party logistics company in Grand Rapids is seeking a Shipping Dock Lead to join their growing team. They support a customer with offsite storage of packaging materials and are looking for a dedicated team player to keep shipping operations running smoothly. 

 

Shipping Dock Lead Responsibilities:

• Managing vendor and customer relationships
• Coordinating shipping schedules
• Tracking incoming orders from vendors and outgoing orders to customers
• Checking shipments in and out via tracking software
• Coordinating the overall flow of Shipping 
• Material handling as needed

Schedule:  7am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday. Overtime may be required on occasion. 

Pay: $20/hour

 

Shipping and Receiving Lead Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED
• Shipping experience is required
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word and Excel 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
