Extruder Machine Operator Job Description:

Express Employment is working with a proud family-owned company in the Lake County area. For Nearly 4 decades they have been delivering high-performance insulation products and they are looking for eager, hard-working individuals to join their team today! In the Extruder Machine Operator role you will play a crucial role in creating master bundles on their materials.

 

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain the extruder machine to ensure efficient production of master bundles.
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and productivity.
• Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance tasks on the machine.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during production.
• Assist with loading raw materials into the machine and unloading finished products.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area and machine components.

 

Schedule and Pay:

• Mon-Wed 7:00am-7:00pm 
• $17.00/hr

Requirements: 

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform physical tasks during the shift
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Must be reliable and punctual
• Flexibility to work additional hours or shifts as needed
• Background check
• Drug test
• This is not a temperature controlled environment. You need to be able to work in hot conditions during the summer and cold conditions during the winter.
