Mechanical Technician

Located in Savage, MN

Salary: Up to $29/hr DOE

Daily Responsibilities:

• Adjust and/or repair all equipment in the department including the power press and auxiliary equipment
• Inspect product for defects and record results on required forms. Inform supervisor if any defects are found. Perform all related quality checks and document them as required. Rejects material that does not meet specifications and provide samples as required.
• Lubricate all equipment in the department as required.
• Set up and perform changeovers. Follow schedule as published.
• Set up die and press tolerances after repairs or changeovers.
• Occasional forklift operation.
• Observe all safety rules.

Skills Required:

• High school graduate preferred
• Passionate about organization, communication, and partnership
• Microsoft Office experience required; project management software experience a plus
• Flexible and a good communicator, willing to be a team-player
• Reliable

Requirements:

·         High school diploma or equivalent

·         Walk, stand, lifting up to 100lbs, pushing/pulling up to 75lbs

·         Mechanical background preferred but will train qualified candidates with mechanical aptitude having basic knowledge of precision measuring instruments, hand and power tools.

Schedule:

Friday - Tuesday, 6:00pm – 6:00am
