Our client located in Englewood, NJ is seeking a CNC Machinist & Programmer to join their team. The CNC Machinist & Programmer will help manufacture pumps for locomotives, steamships, and Defense industries. The CNC Machinist & Programmer will have extensive experience programming, setting up, and operating CNC Lathe, CNC Mill, and Manual machines. This is a Temp to Perm opportunity with company benefits.

CNC Machinist & Programmer Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC Lathe, CNC Mill, and Manual machines, producing parts to tight tolerances and quality standards
• Review CAM programs, accurately programming CNC and Manual machines
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T to determine machining requirements
• Select and mount appropriate fixtures, attachments, speeds, cutting style, and tools for optimal machining performance
• Utilize precision tools and instruments such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, drills, grinders, squares, and shaft alignment
• Conduct in process and final inspections, making necessary adjustments to ensure parts meet quality standards
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime

CNC Machinist & Programmer Requirements

• At least 2 years experience as a CNC Machinist & Programmer
• Experienced setting up and operating CNC Lathe, CNC Mill, and Manual machines
• Proficient with CNC Programming such as Okuma IGF, Mazatrol, or Heidenhain
• Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing
• Complete Background Check and Drug Exam

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Hours: 6am – 2:30pm (Overtime availability)

Pay: $30 – $40 depending on experience
