General Laborer

Salary: 15.00 - 18.00

We are seeking hardworking and reliable individuals to join our team as General Laborers for the summer season. In this role, you will assist with the setup, maintenance, and takedown of party tents and related equipment for various events. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment while contributing to the success of our events.

 

Schedule: 4 - 12 hours from Thurs - Mon 

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the loading and unloading of party tent equipment and supplies.
• Set up and install party tents, including frames, poles, and coverings, according to specifications.
• Assemble and arrange tables, chairs, and other event furniture as required.
• Ensure all equipment is clean, safe, and in good working condition.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of tents and equipment.
• Safely dismantle and pack away tents and equipment after events.
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to complete tasks efficiently.
• Assist with inventory management and record-keeping of rental equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service and address any client needs or concerns on-site.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in general labor, construction, or event setup preferred.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) and standing for long periods.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Flexibility to work varying hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
