Company located in DETROIT MI seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operator!!!

This company is a metal scrap yard that will have you working outside in any weather conditions, so please only apply if you are 100% comfortable with this.

 

Duties:

•    Ability to operate a variety of heavy equipment including but not limited to wheeled, crawler, and pedestal material handlers from multiple manufacturers such as Caterpillar, Sennebogen, and Liebherr
•    Perform daily inspections on all equipment as required
•    Ability to perform tasks in a manner that ensures safety and health, and follows environmental rules
•    Ability to endure physical, and outdoor work on a daily basis

Requirements:

•    One-year Heavy Equipment Operator experience preferred
•    Ability to work independently
•    Basic math and measuring skills

•   Steel Toe Work Boots (not shoes)

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 6 AM to 430 PM

AND Saturdays 6 AM-12 PM

 

Pay: 

$18-$22 an hour depending on experience
