Position Summary

Express Employment Professionals of Tupelo is a locally owned and operated franchise in an 800 store network. We are a full-service staffing agency providing administrative, production and management level workers to over 100 Clients/week in our six county territory. Our clients include Fortune 500 companies, major hospitals, and small and large locally owned businesses.

An Express Employment Professionals Sales Business Development Manager is responsible for securing new business. This is done by identifying opportunities in a defined territory and contacting key decision makers through sales calls, by phone and in-person. Successful candidates are comfortable engaging business people at all levels. This requires the ability to use consultative selling techniques (communication skills, questioning and listening techniques, etc.), the discipline of being persistent, and following a weekly plan

 

Job Requirements:

 

         Two+ Years Business-to-Business sales

         A personal history of success: awards, achievements, goals set and met

         High energy, tenacity, and business maturity

         Outstanding verbal and written communication

         Strong computer skills

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities (local and Headquarters training provided):

 

·         Secure at least two new clients per week.

·         Make 100 sales activity calls including phone and in person visits to generate 40 decision-maker meetings per week.

·         Document all calls in web-based sales software system.

·         Prepare and execute a weekly sales plan.

·         Develop a sales action plan for each of the Top 20 Target Prospects.

·         Maintain strong working relations with Staffing Consultants

·         Cultivate incremental business from existing Clients

·         Other duties as assigned
