Second Shift Operator

Located in Detroit, MI

Salary: $15/hr

Description: Our client, a tubing mill in Detroit is seeking a second shift operator. Responsibilities in this role include all aspects of tube mill set-up, and operations and adjusting and correcting tube mill set-ups to reduce product variation and defects. In addition, this position requires the operator to monitor machine cycles and mill operations to detect jamming and to ensure that products conform to specifications. The individual will also be responsible for examining, inspecting, and measuring raw materials and finished products to verify conformance to specifications.

Shift: 2nd shift 2:45p - 12:45a

Pay: $15/hr

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess the following: 

• Experience operating metal forming equipment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently
• Steel-toed boots
• Ability to work overtime when required.
• An excellent attendance record.
• Ability to communicate well and work well with fellow employees.
