Grounds/General Labor Support

Salary: $16.00/HR

Grounds- General Labor Support Summary: Looking for a job working outside? We are hiring a grounds crew and general labor worker at a large apartment community in Grand Rapids. We are looking for someone who is self-directed that enjoys working with their hands and completing projects.

Grounds- General Labor Support Requirements:

• Removing material from apartments during renovations 
• Carry doors, windows, counter tops, cupboards, trim and fixtures out to dispose of  
• Use of small hand tools  
• Maintaining the general curb appeal of the property
• Picking up trash
• Weeding/pruning plants
• Changing out light bulbs
• Snow removal during winter months

Schedule & Pay:

• 1st shift, 8:00am-4:30pm, plus OT as needed
• $16.00 HR

Grounds- General Labor Support Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license and own car to move about the property 
• Ability to communicate effectively to work alongside management and residents
• Attention to detail
• Perform duties reliably with minimal supervision. 
• Positive appearance and motivation
• Ability to work outside in all kinds of weather
• Lots of walking and heavy lifting
