West side company seeking a

Bilingual Worker''s Compensation Administrator!

 

M-F 8am-5pm $20.00 hr

 

This position will:

 

  • Manage and process workers'' compensation claims within our construction company. 

 

  • Will handle all aspects of claims administration, from initial report and investigation to resolution and compliance with legal requirements. 

 

  • The ideal candidate should have expertise in workers'' compensation laws, claims management, and experience in the construction industry.

 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

 

Claims Management:

  • Receive, review, and process workers'' compensation claims from employees, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Investigate claims by gathering information from employees, supervisors, medical providers, and witnesses to determine the validity of claims.
  • Maintain detailed records of claims, correspondence, and documentation related to each case.

Coordination with Medical Providers:

  • Coordinate with medical providers to ensure injured employees receive appropriate medical treatment and follow-up care.
  • Review medical reports and monitor employees'' recovery progress to facilitate return-to-work programs or determine disability status.

Compliance and Documentation:

  • Ensure compliance with state and federal workers'' compensation laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Prepare and submit required documentation to insurance carriers, regulatory agencies, and legal representatives, as necessary.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and protect employee privacy in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

Communication and Support:

  • Communicate with employees, supervisors, and management to provide updates on claims status, procedures, and workers'' compensation benefits.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees throughout the claims process, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
  • Educate employees and management on workers'' compensation policies, reporting procedures, and safety practices to reduce injury risks.

Return-to-Work Programs:

  • Develop and implement return-to-work programs to facilitate the safe and timely return of injured employees to their job duties.
  • Coordinate light-duty assignments or modifications to work duties to accommodate employees with temporary or permanent work restrictions.

Claims Resolution:

  • Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers, legal representatives, and employees to resolve claims efficiently and fairly.
  • Participate in mediation, hearings, or legal proceedings as necessary to represent the company''s interests in workers'' compensation cases.
  • Regular attendance required according to company policy to ensure crew can operate at normal efficiency level.
