Delivery Driver- Graveyard

Located in West Sacramento, CA

Job Title: Class A Driver (Graveyard Shift)

 

Location: [Roseville]

 

Shift: Graveyard (11:30 PM - 6:30 AM)

 

Pay rate: $25.00-$27.00

 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class A Driver to join our team for the graveyard shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining compliance with all company and DOT regulations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a Class A commercial vehicle to transport goods between specified locations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and report any issues.
• Ensure the safe and timely delivery of goods to customers or other company locations.
• Adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies regarding driving hours, rest periods, and safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery logs.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members.
• Assist with loading and unloading of goods as necessary.
• Ensure the vehicle is clean and well-maintained at all times.
• Handle and transport hazardous materials safely, if applicable.
• Report any accidents, incidents, or near-misses to the supervisor immediately.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver''s License (CDL).
• Minimum of [1] years of experience as a Class A driver.
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Ability to work the graveyard shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.
• Experience with [specific equipment or type of truck, if applicable].

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit for extended periods while driving.
• Capable of handling physical tasks such as loading and unloading cargo.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
