Job Description: Hawaii's Best Workplace is seeking a Senior Program Director that will collaborate closely with our team under the leadership of the Program Executive Director of Teens & Young Adults, driving the management and dynamic development of our afterschool and summer teen programs. Your primary focus will be ensuring the seamless delivery of top-tier programs and services while strategically advancing our organization's goals. Key responsibilities include cultivating a thriving team culture, driving program retention and expansion, and fostering relationships with educational institutions and community organizations to create impactful opportunities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·         Drive program quality to enhance participant experience and meet diverse Youth Development and Safety requirements.

• Directly oversee funding supporting diverse teen programs, collaborating with department leads and organizational leaders.
• Provide inclusive leadership in managing grants and funding for teen programs, ensuring alignment with annual budgets and strategic goals.
• Seek and secure additional funding to support and enrich diverse signature teen programs, fostering partnerships with the community.
• Support other departments as needed, ensuring inclusive, safe, and innovative program delivery while promoting staff development and risk management.

Qualifications:

·         Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Social Services, Recreation, Education, or related field.

·         Demonstrated leadership with 3+ years of relevant experience, including supervision.

·         Proficiency in planning, organizing, and implementing programs, coupled with strong staff development and budget analysis skills.

·         Preferred experience includes working with teens in afterschool settings and conducting training sessions.

·         Possess certifications in CPR/First Aid/AED, along with effective communication and a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
