Description

 

The Picker/Packer will use lists to perform order fulfilment operations to gather items from master cartons (picked) and then place into containers (packed). The job may require heavy lifting and standing for long hours. 

 

General Duties:

 

• Perform repetitive work to stuff or load products, parts, or merchandise into designated boxes, packages, crates, and other receptacles.
• Count items placed into containers.
• Review packing lists to ensure all required items are included.
• Use paper, plastic, Styrofoam, or other materials to pack containers.
• Use many of the following items and equipment including shelf, rack, bin, pallet, cart, labeler, conveyor system, hand truck, forklift, freight elevator, computer, barcode scanner, telephone system, mail sorter, and pneumatic tube.
