Express is looking for a experienced Millwright for a direct hire position for a company in the Woodland, WA area. 

 

Essential Functions:

  • Place, align, level, and attach equipment on production lines based on specifications, blueprints, or other documents, ensuring compliance and appropriate tolerances.
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions and equipment failures; perform basic maintenance and repairs.
  • Assemble, test, and maintain electrical equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures.
  • Dismantle, repair, and replace defective electrical or mechanical parts such as gears, brushes, and armatures.
  • Mount motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures and complete circuits according to diagram specifications.

Competencies:

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Basic hydraulic skills and understanding of production equipment.
  • Proficiency in using stick, cutting, arc gouging, and wire welding equipment.
  • Understanding of safety protocols, Lock Out/Tag Out processes, and other mechanical safety processes.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Strong time management and deadline adherence.
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to create strong relationships and be detail-oriented.
  • Competency in using basic office equipment and programs.
  • Strong organizational skills.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to sit, stand, kneel, bend, and twist.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Gross and fine motor skills.

Travel Requirements:

  • Occasional travel as needed.

Required Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • 3 to 5 years of electrical (machine electrical troubleshooting & repair) and machining experience.
  • Technical school or skilled trade program preferred.
