*The starting salary for this position is $28/hr.
*12 hour grave shifts

Job Responsibilities for the Maintenance Technician:

• Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical/electrical equipment by completing required repairs on industrial equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery.
• Process necessary documentation regarding procedures performed.
• Control downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to perform mechanical and hydraulic repairs used in mechanical maintenance work assignments.
• Locate sources of problems by observing electrical/mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
• Conserve maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Ensures all maintenance and repair activities following OSHA, Federal, Local safety standards.

Job Requirements for Maintenance Technician:

• 2 years of maintenance experience in industrial equipment
• Experience in ammonia and/or refrigeration
• Able to meet the physical demands of the job (Standing for long periods of time, bending, kneeling, squatting, heavy lifting, go up and down stairs, etc)
• Understanding of safety procedures
• Experience with power tools
• Critical decision-making ability
• Experience in industrial manufacturing a plus
• Flexible and dependable with reliable transportation
• Pass a drug test and background check
