Location: Texarkana, TX

Hours: Full time, M-F, some overtime required

The Office Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the office and administrative functions. This role includes overseeing office staff, managing administrative support tasks, and maintaining office systems and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Office Operations:
    • Oversee daily office operations and procedures.
    • Ensure office efficiency is maintained by carrying out planning and execution of equipment procurement, layouts, and office systems.
    • Manage the maintenance of office equipment and facilities.
  2. Administrative Support:
    • Provide administrative support to senior management.
    • Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
    • Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence.
  3. Staff Supervision:
    • Supervise and support office staff, including administrative assistants and receptionists.
    • Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback and training.
  4. Financial Management:
    • Oversee office budget and expenditures.
    • Manage accounts payable and receivable.
    • Process invoices, receipts, and payments.

 

  1. Communication:
    • Serve as the point of contact for office-related inquiries and issues.
    • Maintain effective communication within the office and with external parties.
    • Facilitate internal communication and coordination.
  2. Human Resources:
    • Assist with recruitment and onboarding of new staff.
    • Maintain employee records and manage HR-related documentation.
    • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
  3. Project Management:
    • Manage special projects as assigned.
    • Coordinate with different departments to achieve project goals.
  4. Health and Safety:
    • Ensure the office complies with health and safety regulations.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in office management or administrative roles.
  • Skills:
    • Strong organizational and planning skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in office software (e.g., MS Office Suite, G Suite).
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
