CDL Driver

Are you an experienced Class A CDL holder with a passion for driving and a commitment to safety? Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting on behalf of one of our clients, a reputable paving company in [City, State], for the position of Dump Truck Driver.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate a dump truck to transport aggregate materials and equipment to and from job sites.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe transportation of materials.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and equipment to ensure they are in proper working condition.
Secure loads properly to prevent shifting or spillage during transit.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members to coordinate job assignments and ensure timely delivery of materials.
Maintain accurate records of trucking activities, including mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance performed.
Follow company policies and procedures regarding safety, vehicle operation, and maintenance.
Requirements:

Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience hauling aggregate materials and equipment.
Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols.
Ability to operate dump truck controls safely and effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
Flexibility to work full-time hours, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime as needed.
Physical stamina to perform the duties of the job, including lifting and carrying heavy objects.
