Grinder Technician/Finisher Job Summary:
A premier manufacturing company is looking for a Grinder Technician/Finisher to join their growing team and work in their production facility.
Grinder Technician/Finisher Requirements:
- Operate grinding and finishing equipment to smooth and polish metal and other materials.
- Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet specifications using calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools.
- Interpret and follow blueprints, diagrams, and work orders.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of grinding equipment and work area.
- Identify and address any defects or imperfections in the finished products.
- Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Record and report production data and any issues encountered during operation.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and products as needed.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
Schedule & Pay:
- Monday – Thursday 6:00am-4:00pm, Overtime as needed
- $18/HR
Grinder Technician/Finisher Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- Minimum 2-year work experience as a Grinder Technician/Finisher or in a similar role
- Proficiency in operating grinding and finishing equipment
- Technical knowledge in the use of measurement devices
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders
- Strong attention to detail, hands-on, punctual, and disciplined
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
