Press Brake Operator

Located in York, PA

Salary: $20.00 to $25.00/hr DOE

Hours:  Train on 1^st shift 6am-2:30pm (8 hours with unpaid 30 min break)

3^rd shift:  10pm-6:30am (8 hours with unpaid 30 min break)

***First day report at 8:30 am for orientation***

Dress code: Jeans/T-shirt, steel toed shoes, nothing offensive, no Jewelry, no holes, rips or tears

Job Description:  Press Brake Operator Duties and Responsibilities

Forming Metal - Operator performs job setup and forming various types of metal. Operator loads pieces of metal into the press for shaping to a specified print i.e. angle and dimension. This machine is also used for flattening.

Maintain Press Brake - Operator setup and maintain the press brake machine to keep it in good working order.

Read Blueprints - Operator will need to be able to read and follow detailed prints.

Inspection - Operator monitors the parts being formed to SOP and work order per job.

Safety - Operator follows safety regulations. This includes wearing proper PPE and keeping their work area clean and well organized.

Qualifications:  Must be able to read a tape measure, be mechanically inclined, work independently, self-motivated, attention to detail, quality assurance cutting material, helping wherever needed, efficient and diligent.  Prefers previous Brake Press Operator.
