Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for an experienced Forklift Mechanic to join a local machine shop that maintains and repairs forklifts, pallet jackets and hydraulic systems.

Selected candidate will diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and electrical issues with forklifts and/or industrial trucks.

Skills and Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of Mechanic experience – performing maintenance and repair on hydraulic equipment
• Maintenance Tech training.
• Understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in forklifts and industrial lifts.
• Strong written & verbal communication skills
• Provides outstanding Customer Service
• Must have a valid Oregon Driver’s License and a clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to maneuver over, under and around equipment to diagnose and make needed repairs.

Schedule and Pay: This is an Evaluation to hire opportunity!

Day Shift M-F 7:30am-4:30pm

Wages are $18.00 - $24.00 /hr D.O.E. with a performance review after 540 hours
