Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday-Friday, 4:00pm-12:30am

 

Location: Surprise, AZ

Pay: $20-$22+ per hour (depending on experience)

 

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Plasma Operator to join our team on the 2nd shift. As a CNC Plasma Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC plasma cutting machines to produce high-quality, precise cuts on structural steel and other materials. Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and calibrate CNC plasma cutting machines according to job specifications.
• Develop and input CNC programs using CAD/CAM software or directly on the machine''s control panel.
• Monitor the cutting process and make adjustments to ensure precision and quality.
• Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality, ensuring they meet specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on the CNC plasma cutting machine.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating CNC plasma cutting machines.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
• Good eyesight for detailed work, including near vision and depth perception.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
