Responsibilities:
Some typical tasks performed may include a combination of the following:

• Monitor product and perform quality checks.
• Inspect and measure filters to verify conformance to specifications.
• Manually handler equipment and secure product in fixture OR automatic feeding device.
• Stop and start machine, engaged feed, and observe operations to detect malfunctions.
• Make minor adjustments or repairs such an opening and/or turning valves, setting guides, clearing away damaged product, and changing parts.
• Feed products to conveyors, hoppers or feeding devices or walking beam.
• Manage work in process inventories.
• Replenish raw and consumable materials such as boxes, pallets, cartons, glue, lubricants, ink or labels.
• Track and monitor production by recording and charting information such as the number of units of product, package or record/chart information such as size, weight, type or product, or type of production.
• Use computer for information, quality control, and data entry as needed.
• Ensure preventive maintenance (PM) and total productive Manufacturing (TPM) IN Time for completion.

Qualifications:

• Able to read & comprehend simple instructions
• Compile short correspondence, write simple correspondence
• Able to add, subtract, multiply & divide using whole number, common fractions & decimals, basic computer skills
