Stocker Position

Located in Waverly, TN

Salary: $14 / hour

Job Description:

Express Employment Professionals of Dickson is currently seeking enthusiastic, professional, and efficient candidates for a Stocker position with an established Distribution and Warehouse Center in Waverly. This position will pay $14.00 /  hr. and the hours are M-F from 7:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M.

 Responsibilities:

• Load and/or unload freight off trucks at distribution center
• Divide and count cartons
• After unload is complete, remove boxes from carton and sort, count, and document inventory
• Break down cardboard cartons for recycling as time allows
• Move product to the correct warehouse location
• Place product on shelves according to company stocking procedures
• Relocate stock as needed or instructed.
• Re-box and help pick orders as needed or instructed
• Able to work well with others on an individual basis and as a team player
• Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential

Qualifications:

• General mathematical skills required
• Capable of lifting 40-50 lbs. on a regular basis
• Capable of standing/walking on a concrete surface for 95% of the shift
• Capable of working in a nonclimate-controlled environment
• Capable of physical movements such as reaching, bending, stooping, and lifting products above the shoulders if necessary
• Previous distribution and warehouse experience is preferred but not required
• Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE: PPE includes but is not limited to Closed toed shoes/boots
• Capable of maintaining an attendance record within Company guidelines and working overtime if needed.
