Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Field Superintendent to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all on-site activities and ensuring that construction projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in managing project logistics, coordinating subcontractors, and maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations of construction sites, including scheduling, coordinating subcontractors, and overseeing labor force.
• Ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timelines and budgets are met.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and compliance with building codes and regulations.
• Resolve any issues that may arise on-site promptly and effectively.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow and project success.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including progress reports, materials usage, and personnel attendance.
• Enforce site safety protocols and promote a safe working environment for all employees and subcontractors.
• Provide leadership and guidance to construction crews and subcontractors, fostering a positive and productive work atmosphere.
• Communicate effectively with clients, addressing concerns and providing updates on project status.

Requirements:

• Proven experience at at least 5 years as a Field Superintendent or similar role in commercial construction.
• In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and safety guidelines.
• Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications with ease.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Understanding of budgeting and performance management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA) are a plus.
