Express is seeking an auto shop assistant for a facility in Irwin!

YOU MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE TO QUALIFY FOR THIS POSITION. You also must have previous construction experience and your own basic tools such as a hammer, screwdrivers, measuring tape, etc.

ON THE JOB PAID TRAINING!
7AM – 3:30PM Monday thru Friday with overtime as needed!

Job Duties of the auto shop assistant:

• Physically capable and able to stand, squat, lift etc. for duration of the shift
• Install roofs and sides for trailers
• Use of general hand and air tools
• Maintain all safety standards
• Move and prepare materials for shipping
• Basic carpentry and fabrication
• Other duties as required

Qualifications of the auto shop assistant:

• High school diploma or GED
• VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE IS A MUST
• Hand tools and power tools experience
• Forklift & welding experience is helpful but not required
• Attention to detail and safety
• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Comfortable working in all types of weather
• Adaptable and willingness to be trained
• Strong work history
