Job Title: Precision Grinder (Centerless, and/or Surface grinding)

Location: East Metro Area

Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Job Description:

Join our dynamic team as a Precision Grinder specializing in Centerless and surface, grinding. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the precision and quality of our components through meticulous grinding operations.

Responsibilities:

• Operate Centerless, Surface, and Blanchard grinders used to perform grinding tasks according to specifications.
• Set up and adjust machines, including Blanchard grinders, to ensure products meet precise tolerances and quality standards.
• Must be proficient in setting up and running through-feed and plunge-type centerless grinders.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions to determine grinding requirements.
• Measure dimensions of finished workpieces to ensure conformance to specifications using micrometers and various gaging systems.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Precision Grinder, with specific experience in Centerless and Surface grinding. Proficiency with Blanchard grinding machines is highly desirable.
• Ability to setup and operate through-feed and plunge-type centerless grinders effectively.
• Skilled in the use of micrometers and various gaging systems for quality control.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to different types of grinding techniques and machines.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Knowledge of grinding tools, equipment, and techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
