Express Employment Professionals'' is recruiting a skilled Debt Collector to join a great local team. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounts receivable and possess a strong understanding of financial concepts.
Duties: - Contact individuals who have outstanding debt via phone, email, or mail - Negotiate payment plans and settlements with debtors - Update account status records and payment information accurately - Provide exceptional customer service while assisting debtors in resolving their financial obligations - Utilize accounting software to manage accounts and track debt collection activities - Conduct account reconciliation to ensure accurate debt balances - Familiarity with medical terminology and medical billing practices is a plus
Experience: - Proven experience in debt collection, accounts receivable, or related field - Knowledge of debits, credits, and revenue cycle management - Proficiency in using accounting software for financial transactions - Strong negotiation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with debtors - Excellent customer service skills to handle sensitive financial situations Join our team as a Debt Collector and contribute to our mission of managing outstanding debts efficiently while maintaining positive relationships with clients.
