Salary: 19.00-21.00 DOE

  • Maintains strictest confidentiality of patient and business information. Adheres to all HIPAA privacy and security requirements and regulations. Complies with the Clinic''s code of conduct and professional expectations including but not limited to appearance, attendance, and dress code requirements. 
  • Maintain a polite, courteous and professional demeanor. 
  • Assigns new patients to providers and coordinates patient and or provider reassignment requests. 
  • Receives and documents patient complaints, issues, and concerns. 
  • Facilitates patient complaint/ problem resolution.
  • Prepares patient termination and patient counseling letters, obtains provider signature, and processes the letters into the EMR system. 
  • Proper handling of patient legal documents including, but not limited to; foster children, power of attorney, health care representative, guardianship, and conservatorship. Develop and maintain internal procedure for recording and filing these documents. 
  • As needed, develops and maintains a methodology for the collection, analysis, reporting and tracking of patient compolaints and probolem resolution outcomes. 
  • Completes special projects assigned by senior management. 
  • Provides input, recommendations, and support for management process initiatives. 
  • Assists the HIPAA Privacy Officer as needed as requested. 
  • Attends all required HIPAA and EMR/WIC meetings, along with safety, security, HIPAA and compliance training sessions. 
  • Strong commitment to work as a team with Clinic supervisors and managers, while having the ability to work independently as well.
