This position is for a forward-thinking, Seattle-based food manufacturing company, leading the market with innovative food products - their extensive operations produce over a million pieces of sushi daily! They also offer restaurant-quality frozen and fresh ready meals and are launching new product lines that will revolutionize the industry.

The Position:
You will enhance the production process, ensuring the company meets production targets and maintains high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks:
•    Production Planning and Scheduling: Develop and implement production plans to meet targets.
•    Team Management: Recruit, train, and supervise production staff. Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
•    Inventory & Logistics Management: Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely availability of materials.
•    Production Performance & Process Optimization: Establish KPIs to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
•    Budgeting and Cost Control: Manage production budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
•    Quality Standards and Compliance: Ensure compliance with quality standards and food safety regulations.
•    Safety Compliance: Promote a positive safety culture and ensure a safe working environment.
•    Communication and Reporting: Communicate production goals and updates to senior management.

Skills & Qualifications
•    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
•    Proven work experience in food manufacturing
•    Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•    Proficient in production management software and Microsoft Office
•    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
•    Leadership skills with a focus on safety regulations and compliance
•    Strong sense of accountability and ownership
