Position Overview:
The Manager of Operations is a seasoned logistics professional with the skills and energy to continue the growth of AirGroup. This entails managing and growing the successful routing of freight with the utmost customer satisfaction. This senior role reports directly to the Vice President of Operations & Customer Satisfaction and liaises with the President.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Ensure safe, compliant, and profitable operations of the station.
•    Direct, plan, and coordinate all operational and administrative activities.
•    Handle shipment files from A to Z, ensuring all operational tasks are performed accurately and efficiently.
•    Work alongside the team to perform operations, demonstrating hands-on leadership and support.
•    Oversee the entire station operation, including developing and driving sales, profitable growth, warehouse management (WMS), and managing contracted tenants.
•    Set and achieve goals aligned with company processes and policies.
•    Use budgeting, P&L, metrics, and personnel development as tools to measure success.
•    Establish operations standards for ROI, cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and on-time delivery.
•    Develop and manage a team capable of achieving growth and hitting sales targets.
•    Implement a strategic business plan that expands the company's customer base.
•    Provide leadership for problem resolution to facilitate continuous improvements and improved working relationships.
•    Develop an Annual Operations Business Plan that is cohesive with sales, marketing, administration, and finance plans.

Minimum Qualifications:
•    At least 5 years of freight forwarding experience; air and ocean international import and export experience is required.
•    At least 3 years of operations management experience.

•    Ability to develop and implement processes and systems utilizing high-performance work principles.
•    Solid verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively within different levels of the organization and with customers.

Compensation:
•    $80,000 - $110,000, based on experience.
•    Bonuses based on profit sharing.
