$30-$40 hr. DOE

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate manual machine tools such as lathes, mills, and grinders to produce accurate components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to determine machining requirements.
- Utilize programming for machining operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Conduct quality inspections of finished parts using tools like coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to meet tight tolerances.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize processes and troubleshoot any manufacturing challenges.
- Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance tasks and troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime.
- Adhere to safety protocols, including proper handling of hand tools and forklift operation, to maintain a safe work environment.

Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
- Welding MIG/TIG
- Knowledge of GD&T principles for precision machining.
- Competency in using a variety of hand tools for machining tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
