Position: Mechanical/Electrical Builder is responsible for putting together component parts and/or pieces to a specified set of drawings and work instructions. The ability to use hand tools and mechanical equipment is required in this role, as is an understanding of basic manufacturing principles and a knowledge of safety procedures. Machine building includes, but is not limited to, conveyance, motors, actuators, bearings, pulleys, photo eyes, wiring/wire management while meeting production timelines and deliverables.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: · Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a small organization. · Must be self-directed and work independently completing tasks with a sense of urgency. · Must be organized and detail oriented with a genuine commitment to exceed expectations. · Minimum one to two years of experience in manufacturing/machine building. · Electrical and mechanical machine building experience required. · Prefer technical degree in Automation. Will consider high school diploma or equivalent machine building experience. · Ability to build from and understand blueprints and schematics/diagrams. · Ability to think “outside the box” when presented with a challenge to achieve an on- the-spot resolution. · Ability to work overtime when necessary to complete builds.

Physical Demands: · Builder must regularly lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. · Builder must frequently stand, climb, kneel, crouch or crawl. · Builder must use hand and power tools safely and effectively. · Builder must be or be willing to get forklift certified.
