Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Painter/Drywaller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in painting and drywall installation, repair, and finishing. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and excellent customer service skills. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Painting:

    • Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old paint, filling holes, and repairing cracks.
    • Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
    • Ensure a smooth and even application of paint, free from drips, streaks, and imperfections.

  2. Drywall Installation and Repair:

    • Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets to walls and ceilings.
    • Tape, mud, and sand drywall seams and joints to create a smooth, seamless finish.
    • Repair and patch damaged drywall, ensuring repairs blend seamlessly with the surrounding area.

  3. Surface Preparation:

    • Clean and prime surfaces to ensure proper adhesion of paint and finishes.
    • Protect surrounding areas with drop cloths and masking tape to prevent damage or paint splatter.

  4. Customer Service:

    • Communicate with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
    • Provide professional recommendations on paint colors, finishes, and techniques.
    • Ensure client satisfaction by completing projects on time and to their specifications.

  5. Safety and Maintenance:

    • Follow safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
    • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a painter and drywaller.
  • Proficiency in various painting techniques and drywall finishing methods.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment.
