Leasing Specialist

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Leasing Specialist to join a local Omaha Company!

Position Details:
•    Type: Evaluation Hire 
•    Schedule: Normal business hours, some Saturdays required
•    Location: Omaha, NE
•    Pay/Salary: up to $22/hour

Job Duties:
•    Greet and assist prospective tenants in touring available properties
•    Provide information on rental terms, application processes, and leasing agreements
•    Conduct background and credit checks on potential tenants
•    Prepare and execute lease agreements and related documents
•    Collect and process rental payments from tenants
•    Address tenant inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests in a timely manner
•    Coordinate move-in and move-out inspections with tenants
•    Maintain accurate records of rental activities and tenant interactions

Requirements:
•    Must have a working personal laptop to bring into work
•    Previous experience in property management or leasing preferred
•    Strong data entry skills
•    Attention to detail
•    Excellent conflict management and problem-solving abilities
•    Ability to negotiate lease terms and conditions effectively
•    Professional phone etiquette and communication skills
•    Familiarity with property maintenance procedures
•    Exceptional customer service skills
•    Understanding of legal administrative processes related to leasing and contracts
