Material Handlers

Located in New Bedford, MA

Salary: $18 per hour

Our client in New Bedford, MA has an immediate need for multiple Material Handlers. Material Handlers will check accuracy of raw material packing slips, receive purchase orders and incoming product, maintain inventory and weekly cycle counts, and stock and pick raw materials, among other duties. Turret truck experience is a plus.

Material Handler Duties & Responsibilities:

• Multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Stock materials, and pick raw materials requested by internal customers
• Maintain accurate inventory of raw materials in stockroom and warehouse
• Manage weekly cycle count process
• Safely load/unload trucks to ensure accurate and timely shipments
• Perform daily activities using programs such as SAP, Wip Tracker, Microsoft Excel, Bartender, BFI, Radio Frequency Scanners

Material Handler Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Turret truck experience preferred
• Safely operate industrial material handling equipment (turret, reach, forklift, pallet jacks)
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs.
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Material Handler - Monday through Friday / 7:00am - 4:00pm or 5:00am - 2:00pm, Pay rate: $18.00 per hour
