Express Employment Professionals are seeking a responsible and experienced candidate for a full-time, permanent position as Lab Technician (Day shift) for a great company in Hyrum, UT!

Responsibilities of the Lab Technician:

• Collects and prepares sample of raw materials, and finished products for testing
• Perform FOSS tests for fat, protein, & solid content
• Perform Kohman test on finished product as needed
• Perform hourly tests for the composition of the product
• Check, Scan, and email all product paperwork results to plant management
• Maintain the lab in a clean and hygienic condition
• Calibrate PH meters throughout the plant
• Enter all test results accurately into computer system
• Perform tasks quickly and efficiently
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements of the Lab Technician:

• Basic understand of Biology and Chemistry required
• Related 2 years experience required
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to multi task in a fast-paced environment
• Physically able to stand for long periods of time
• Flexible and dependable with reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
• Able to work weekends and 12 hr shifts

Compensation and Hours of the Lab Technician:

• Starting Pay is $23/hour (Raises after 90 days!) Can be more with experience!
• Possible Schedules: Thu, Fri, Sat & every other Sunday. 5:00am – 5:00pm
• Must have open availability and be able to work weekends
