Machine Operator

Position Overview:

We are seeking a diligent and motivated Entry-Level Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery used in the manufacturing process. While this is an entry-level position, previous experience with CNC (Computer Numerical Control) operation is beneficial. This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow and advance within our company.

• Basic mechanical skills and understanding of machine operations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot minor machine issues.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Capability to work in a noisy environment with exposure to varying temperatures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Machine Operation: Operate a variety of machines used in the manufacturing process, ensuring they function correctly and efficiently.
• CNC Operation: Utilize basic knowledge of CNC machines to set up, operate, and troubleshoot minor issues. Experience with CNC operations is a plus.
• Quality Control: Inspect products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards. Make necessary adjustments to machines to maintain product quality.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment, reporting any significant issues to the maintenance team.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production, including output, machine performance, and any issues encountered during operation.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members and supervisors to ensure production goals are met. Communicate effectively regarding any operational issues or improvements.

Qualifications:

 

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred. Familiarity with CNC operations is beneficial but not required.
