Shift: 5:00am - 3:45pm

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in wood assembly, be able to handle heavy lifting, and thrive in a non-climate-controlled environment. This position involves the assembly of various wood products, requiring precision, strength, and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble wood products according to specifications and blueprints.
• Operate and maintain woodworking machinery and tools.
• Ensure that all assembled products meet quality standards.
• Handle and move materials, including lifting heavy items (over 50lbs).
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a wood shop or similar manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow assembly instructions.
• Physical stamina and strength to lift and move heavy objects (over 50lbs).
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
• Basic knowledge of woodworking tools and machinery.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with various woodworking techniques and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues.
• Forklift certification (a plus).

Work Environment:

• Non-climate-controlled environment; exposure to varying temperatures.
• Physical demands include heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and manual labor.
• Full-time position with potential for overtime as needed.
