**Job Title: Door Assembly Production Worker**

 

**Job Summary:**
As a Door Assembly Production Worker, you will be responsible for assembling doors using various tools and equipment such as air guns, air screwdrivers, routers, and chop saws. This role requires a keen understanding of measurements and the ability to read a tape measure accurately. The shift timing is from 6:30 AM until completion, and you will be expected to contribute to the efficient production of high-quality doors.

 

**Responsibilities:**

1. Perform door assembly tasks according to established production procedures and safety guidelines.
2. Use air guns and air screwdrivers to fasten components together securely.
3. Operate routers to shape and trim door components as required.
4. Utilize chop saws to cut materials to the specified dimensions.
5. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to ensure accurate assembly.
6. Measure and mark door components using a tape measure, ensuring precision and adherence to specifications.
7. Inspect finished doors for quality and completeness, making adjustments or repairs as needed.
8. Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
9. Maintain a clean and organized work area, following 5S principles and housekeeping standards.
10. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
11. Adhere to all safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

 

**Qualifications:**

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Previous experience in door assembly or a similar production environment preferred.
3. Proficiency in using air guns, air screwdrivers, routers, and chop saws.
4. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements accurately.
5. Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools.
6. Strong attention to detail and quality.
7. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
8. Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift/move materials as needed.
9. Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as required.
10. Commitment to workplace safety and following safety procedures at all times.

 

**Physical Requirements:**
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for using tools and equipment effectively.

 

Shift is 6a-3p OT is required as needed.
