Local Odessa company is searching for a Procurement Specialist. This dynamic and growing organization is looking to hire a Procurement Specialist who will play a crucial role in acquiring the organizations various equipment and parts/supplies.  

Duties:

•             Research and identify prospective suppliers

•             Liaise with internal project teams to understand procurement needs

•             Evaluate products and suppliers according to key business criteria

•             Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors

•             Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies and parts as necessary 

•             Provide data and reports to enhance performance, quality, cost-effectiveness, cycle time, and robustness of test equipment and equipment inventory

•             Provide performance reviews on equipment and cost reporting

•             Keep organized record of work requests, customer interactions, completed work, and related expenses

•             Prioritize and organize field equipment hours of service and know when retirement of equipment is needed

•             Gather all relevant information from vendors, supervisors, and sales to properly complete and coordinate purchasing projects

•            Speak with supervisors and customers to resolve problems, address service requests, or provide necessary information 

 

Requirements:

•             3+ years in procurement/purchasing experience

•            2+ years with logistics and route planning 

•             Strong communication skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations

•             Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

•             Strong software skills in Microsoft Suite

•             Valid DL and clean MVR
