The Food Prep Specialist is responsible for preparing ingredients, ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, and assisting in the preparation of meals according to our recipes and standards. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ingredient Preparation: Wash, peel, chop, slice, and dice vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients.
• Portion Control: Measure and portion ingredients according to recipes and company standards.
• Food Safety: Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment.
• Equipment Use: Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, slicers, and blenders safely and efficiently.
• Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring and managing inventory levels, including checking for freshness and quality of ingredients.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient preparation of all dishes.
• Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and prep areas, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment as needed.
• Compliance: Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in food preparation or a similar role is preferred.
• Skills: Strong knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment and procedures.
• Knowledge: Understanding of basic cooking techniques and food safety standards.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous and thorough in performing tasks.
• Team Player: Ability to work well with others and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
