2nd Shift Maintenance Technician

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with a strong background in technical, mechanical, and electrical systems. The ideal candidate will be proficient in reading schematics, blueprints, and using computer systems for troubleshooting and maintenance tasks. This role requires a proactive problem-solver who can ensure optimal operation of equipment and facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facilities.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and blueprints to understand and maintain systems effectively.
• Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) for work orders, documentation, and inventory management.
• Conduct inspections and assessments to identify potential maintenance issues and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance and repair work schedules.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Respond promptly to emergency calls and participate in on-call rotation as needed.
• Train and mentor junior technicians on maintenance procedures and best practices.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in electrical, mechanical, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role, with a minimum of [number] years in industrial maintenance.
