Express Employment Professionals is seeking a motivated Inside Sales Representative to join a a leading metal manufacturer here in Eugene, OR, known for delivering top-quality products to their clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating leads, qualifying prospects, and closing sales deals over the phone.

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will play a key role in driving sales and revenue growth. Your primary responsibility will be to build and maintain strong customer relationships, identify new sales opportunities, and close deals with both new and existing clients. In addition, you will work closely with our outside sales team to support their efforts and ensure seamless customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Relationship Management:
• Proactively communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through regular follow-ups and excellent service.
• Order Management:
• Ensure an efficient and profitable order process (includes providing price quotes to customers, generating sales orders & work orders for internal facility processing and purchase orders for outside processing) and help customers as needed along the way.
• Occasionally set up freight for on-time deliveries in line with customer specifications.
• Product Knowledge and Technical Expertise:
• Develop a deep understanding of our metal products and fabrication capabilities to effectively communicate value to customers.
• Provide technical assistance and guidance to customers on product specifications and applications.
• Collaboration and Support:
• Collaborate with the production and operations teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Coordinate outside processing as needed, when capabilities are outside the scope of regular processing (i.e. laser cutting, rolling, machining, etc.)
• Provide other office duty support as needed.

Qualifications:

• Excellent telephone skills are a must
• Proven track record in inside sales, preferably in a related industry such as manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial products.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Technical aptitude and the ability to learn and articulate complex product details.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite, and other sales tools (bonus if you know Global Shop Solutions and AutoCad).
