Job Title: Production Operator (Night Shift)

Location: Mills River, NC

Hours: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Salary: $17/hr + Shift Differential + Weekend Bonus

Company Overview: Our Client a leading production company located in Mills River, is seeking 2 weekend night Production Operators.   

Position Summary: As a Production Operator on the night shift, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes. You will be responsible for setting up, monitoring, and maintaining both the product and the equipment used during the production process. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will contribute to the success of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Set up and prepare equipment for production runs according to standard operating procedures.
2. Monitor production processes to ensure product quality and adherence to production schedules.
3. Perform regular inspections and maintenance tasks on production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
4. Troubleshoot equipment issues and make necessary adjustments to minimize downtime.
5. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
6. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow and address any issues that arise.
7. Complete production logs and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
8. Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge of production processes.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
4. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
5. Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
6. Basic computer skills for data entry and equipment monitoring.
7. Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
8. Willingness to work night shifts (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM) on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
